Christmas Auction “Little Treasures from Bergström,” Wednesday, December 9, 4 pm

While searching for suitable artwork for the guest rooms at his hotel, Henning J. Claassen found just what he was looking for in the work of Nova Scotia painter Roger Svage. His warm, colorful watercolors were to welcome guests to their rooms at the Bergström. So he invited Roger to Lüneburg and commissioned him to create a dozen original watercolors featuring scenes from Lüneburg and the surrounding area. The watercolors were printed and framed. Following the sale of the Bergström, a small number of the paintings remain in stock. They can be purchased at our Christmas auction with a minimum bid of 25 euros each.
